The field guide is designed for beginners, so the language used is simple and non-technical. It includes descriptions of 773 species from 37 micro and macro moth families, illustrated across 156 color plates.
With over 1,000 color photographs of moths, this guide serves as a comprehensive visual resource. This is also our first publication under our own publishing division, Birdwing Publishers.
We have completed the development of the Field Guide to Common Wildflowers of Sanjay Gandhi National Park. Authored by Isaac Kehimkar and Dr. V. Shubhalaxmi, this book was created for the Forest Department, which will be publishing it. Dr. Rajendra Shinde provided technical expertise for the project.
This 100-page guide features detailed descriptions of 100 wildflower species commonly found in the park throughout the year. Each species entry includes information on its ethnobotanical, ecological, and botanical significance, with minimal use of technical jargon. Additionally, we have provided details on where these flowers can be found within the park.
